Ask the experts and see the case studies on a web site to help you to see the opportunities and rewards of a career in science and technology.

The Planet Science web site has profiles of a range of scientists. You can search the data base by scientific field such as chemistry, health and medicine or earth science. You can also search by job including categories such as climate modeller, forensic scientist and TV producer to find examples of work being done by people who studied chemistry to advanced level.

The 'Next Steps' section of the web site also offers the Agony Team. Four careers experts are ready and waiting to help anyone, young or old, interested in a science career, but not sure of the path to take.

You can e-mail the Agony Team from the web site and they will reply with a tailor made answer, or look in the agony archive to see if someone else has asked your question already.
