I am studying the reaction of peroxodisulphate and iodide ions. I've used an iron(II) catalyst and I was wondering if you could tell me what the order of the catalysed reaction should be?

Ulex says
The order is first with respect to each reactant. You will find a rather good analysis of the kinetics of this reaction here:
Schoolhouse kinetics reaction

If you put ‘iodide peroxodisulphate’ into Google you will get a range of useful material.

Risk assessment
Before attempting any practical work based on the advice and suggestions on this website, you must do the following. Identify any hazards, assess the risks from these hazards, and then decide appropriate control measures to reduce the risks. You must have these approved by those in authority in your school or college laboratory. Do not rely on what is said on this website. For further guidance see our tutorial on Risk Assessment.
