Corrections

Here are a few corrections to the Special Studies which you can download from this website. Please send anything you notice to Sarah Codrington. In due course we should put corrected versions on this website.

page 20, fig 4.2 The top label on the diagram should read 'heat transfer by conduction only' (not 'convection')
 
page 30, figure 6.2 caption
This is not a vacuum cleaner but a vacuum filter!
 
Experiment 5, p11 A mysterious omega (W) has appeared in the calculation - it should be ¹/₂.
