I understand that Fluorine reacts vigourously with water to form HF and Oxygen. But what are the reactions for Chlorine with water, bromine with water and iodine with water?

Dissolved chlorine reacts with water to a small extent, leading to the equilibrium:
Cl2(aq) + H2O(l) <=> HCl(aq) + HOCl(aq)
Bromine is more soluble in water than chlorine, but the above equilibrium, to form HBr and HOBr, occurs to a much lesser extent.
Iodine is only sparingly soluble in water (but much more soluble in KI solution) and the above equilibrium, to form HI and HOI, occurs to a negligible extent.
