Is white wine vinegar's high concentration of ethanoic acid due to its percentage of alcohol content? Why does white wine vinegar have larger acidity than distilled vinegar?

No, it has nothing to do with the fact that white wine vinegar is derived from the oxidation of white wine. Commercially available distilled vinegar has approximately the same concentration of volatile acids (mostly ethanoic acid) as white wine vinegar. However, white wine vinegar tends to contain numerous non-volatile acids as well, such as tartaric acid, succinic acid, etc., so the total acidity of white wine vinegar is always higher.
Risk assessment
Before attempting any practical work based on the advice and suggestions on this website, you must do the following.
