The Periodic Table

Web elements
This is the outstanding Periodic Table on the internet. It is an excellent source of chemical data as well as information about all the elements. A site you should not miss.
>>Visit the web elements site

Visual elements
This web site from the Royal Society of Chemistry has good pictures of the elements with plenty of chemical data about each one plus some general information. The main Periodic Table is highly recommended. Go for the html version if you do not have a broadband internet link. You will also find a section giving the history of the Periodic table. The weird bit is the section of Periodic landscape. Explore!
>>Visit the home page of the site
>>Visit the periodic table
>>Wander in the periodic landscape

Pictorial periodic table
The pictorial Periodic Table gives you numerical data and a photograph of most elements. There are lots of links to other web sites covering the Periodic Table on this site. You can view pictures of unusual forms of the table as well as finding out something about its history.
>>Visit the site

Customised periodic tables
This periodic table spreadsheet enables customised, professional-looking periodic tables, displaying only selected properties of the elements, to be produced and printed.

>>> Download the spreadsheet here Periodic Table
If you choose the 'Open' option you will be able to change the properties displayed on the table but not print copies of it.

To see which properties are available, click on the 'Full Data' tab at the bottom of the page. To change one or more of the properties displayed on the table, click on the 'Included Fields' tab and follow the instructions at the top of the page.

If you want to print copies of this periodic table, save it instead of opening it after downloading, and then work from the saved copy as above.

Note the copyright conditions on the 'Copyright' sheet.
